Wednesday September 17th 1913 I went down with Lizzie at 9:15. Carl had gone a car before. Tishie went to the depot with us. Soon at they left I went over the river to see how Lorie was she had put some thing in her eye by mistake Cora had Nellie with her today. I came home at 2:30 I swept and cleaned the upper story before night. Will got a little ice this morning. the last Thursday September 18th 1913 I swept and cleaned all the lower story got the [illeg] and went down to Fannies at 2:15. Will & Hattie were there for supper. Nellie goes back tonight at 9:10. Will & I came home at 8:30. Hattie gave me a bushel of peaches. Friday September 19th 1913 I put up the peaches and got dinner. I went out on Summit St. to a church meeting. got caught in a rain. came home at 4:30. It rained hard all evening. Saturday September 20th 1913. I worked nearly all day in the fruit, made jelly &c weather colder. Will to train in afternoon. I cleaned the cellar shelfs and put all the fruit down out of the pantry. Will built a good fire in the furnace. Sunday September 21st 1913 It rained a little and a cold wind blowing. I was busy about the house most of the forenoon. Had dinner so I left at 1:15. stopped for a visit with Fannie & at Coras too. Got some peaches up home and come home in time to get supper. I sewed all the evening.
