Saturday October 18th 1913 I finished Idas jacket and got the dinner so Will went down town at 1:15. It was a lovely afternoon and I cleaned the garret. I read and did fancy work in evening. Sunday October 19th 1913 It was a rainy forenoon. I got [around?] so I went down to Otts at 3:15 thinking the rain was over and Ida and I would go to church. But it set in drizzling and we came back together at 6:30. visited till bed time. Monday October 20th 1913 It was a cold windy day. Ida went down to Fannies at 11:15. I spent most of the afternoon with Mrs Robinson. I did some extra work at supper time. did fancy work in eve. Tuesday October 21st 1913 I cooked a nice dinner. Ida & Hattie came out and I went back with them at 2:15. Spent the rest of the afternoon at Fannies but ate supper at Hatties. Ott took Ida to the 6:40 train to go to North Henderson. I went with them, then came home at 7:30. Wednesday October 22nd 1913 There was little snow on the ground in the morning. Tishie called about nine oclock to say Mr Shick was very sick. I was busy with the work all morning and went down to Coras to a meeting of "the Hook & Needle Club." She had nice refreshments and I stayed there till after supper. I stopped at Otts awhile and William walked over to the track with me. I am knitting Ida a pair of slippers.
