Thursday October 23rd 1913
Will helped me work in the forenoon. I went to town at
1:15 and was at the dental clinics most of the afternoon. I
then called to see how Mr Shick was. He is very sick. I came
home at 4:30. It has been a pleasant day.
Friday October 24th 1913
I ironed in forenoon and worked all afternoon in the garrett
changing some feather pillows. Will down town. I knit in evening.
Saturday October 25th 1913
It was a fine day. Will & I drove down home and LeGrand
took Fannie Hattie Cora & I down to Anie Spencers to a cousin
party. Mr Shick died last night. I stopped there when I
came home to call. I did some errands and came home at 6:30
Sunday October 26th 1913
It rained most of the forenoon. I put in all my spare
time and wrote 8 letters. We had supper so we went down at
6:15 called at Shicks and then went to church.
Monday October 27th 1913
We went down at 9:15 to attend Mr Shicks funeral. Frank
& Sophia Woolf came last night. There was a carriage for us.
We came home at 12:30 and got our dinners. I went down at 7:30.
Met Hattie Rob & Cora at the store and we went to see "Fine
Feathers." I came home on the last car with the Miller girls.
Tuesday October 28th 1913
It was a drizzly day. We spent the day down at Woolfs visiting
with the Delavan folks. They go home tomorrow. We got home 
at 4:30. I am busy knitting slippers my spare time.
