Friday November 28th 1913 Will helped me work some things and we hung them in the house to dry. I was sewing in the forenoon. After supper Will & I went down to The Van Meter hotel to call on a Mr & Mrs Byington stopping here. Saturday November 29th 1913 I did baking & ironing and went down at 12:15. Stopped a could of hours with Fannie and then on up to the old home. Joe Williams was there. About 5 oclock I went up town got my supper at the Van Meter and sat at table with The Byingtons. went to Tabernacle meeting. Sunday November 30th 1913 After six days of cloudy weather it began raining this morning. I did not go to church. The Byingtons called up saying they had not got started as they expected to and would try and come out in the afternoon. They came with Hattie and staid till after supper. We had a nice visit. I wrote Grace McCallister. Monday December 1st 1913 I did the work and prepared a nice dinner. The Woolfs were invited out. Tishie & Eloise came but Mary did not. It was so warm that Betty was out in the yard a good deal of the time. I am working on some tatting for Hattie to give to The Presbyterian ladies. Will about the house most of the day.
