Tuesday December 9th 1913 Will helped me do a big washing. It was fine day the clothes got dry. I worked at fancy work all my spare time. Wednesday December 10th 1913 Another nice day. I ironed in forenoon. Went down to Mrs A S Smiths to club meeting, took supper at the Christian Church with Rob Cora & Hattie. Came home at 6:30. I got the group of Marys family and Father & Mothers pictures that I was having framed. Did fancy work. Thursday December 11th 1913 I was busy with the work most of the forenoon. I spent part of afternoon with Mrs Robinson. working on Nellies jacket. Friday December 12th 1913 At home all day busy with my work. weather fine. This is Mary Woolfs birth day. a card from Lydia. Saturday December 13th 1913 Will went to town twice and then down in the evening to a fire, a livery barn and 17 horses perished. I was at home all day. Did the work and finished Nellies jacket. Sunday December 14th 1913 I wrote Lydia before going to chuirch. Will down town in forenoon All The Hedges children joined the chuirch this morning. Otts family and Hattie were out in the Auto in the afternoon. I wrote letters all my spare time till bed time. Monday December 15th 1913 I was at home all day. I got the meals and worked at things for Christmas presents. weather very good.
