Saturday January 24th 1914 I came home at 9:30 and got the dinner. Will went to town at 1:15. I was busy sewing all my spare time till bed time. Sunday January 25th 1914 We were late getting up but I went to church. I rode over to foot of the hill with Hart Spencers in the Auto. I stopped at Otts to sign the deed for the place we sold and on up to Hatties for dinner. I was going over to Aunt Libs but it snowed so I came home at 3:30. The last letter from Lorie tells she had been at Hollywood and was on her way to San Diego. She found all the folks at Hartsocks very poorly indeed. Monday January 26th 1914 It was a cold day. Will & I did some washing and put the clothes to dry in the house. I sewed what time I had. Tuesday January 27th 1914 Was busy all forenoon. Went to town at 1:15. Did some errands and went to the picture show with Rob. I then went over to Aunt Libs and came home at 5:30. A letter from Lydia. Wednesday January 28th 1914 Rob came out this morning to get the waggon. Will went to town at 1:15 to meet Mr. Louis and make out the papers for the sale of the little place here in Coralville. I was sewing what spare time I had. Am making over my green dressing socque. a letter from Lor Simpson.
