Saturday March 14th 1914 I was at home all day and sewing every minutes I could spare from the work. Will was down town both before and after dinner. It was so warm we let the fire go out in the furnace. Sunday March 15th 1914 Will coughs so with the cold he has that he thought best to not try to go to church. I went. After I got the dinner over I read and wrote some. Will sold his two wheeled cart to Frank Vaughn. Wrote Lydia. Monday March 16th 1914 I did some sewing today. I went down town at 3:15 to have Dr Breene work with my teeth and to Dr Smiths office for medicine got home at 5:30. I made tatting in the evening. Tuesday March 17th 1914 I went to town at 11:15 to go to The Elder Daughters party at President Bowmans. Hattie went with me. Had a pleasant time. After I left there went out to Mrs Emmons to have my dress fitted and late down to Breenes office. It was a frightfully cold windy day. Though not so bad when I left home. Wednesday March 18th 1914 We went down before noon. Had dinner at Van Meters hotel and saw The Engineers parade. I then went out to Mrs Emmons and stopped at Dr Breenes office. home at 4:30. I have a bad cold. Thursday March 19th 1914 I feel just wretched with my cold and the weather is unpleasant. I am able to do the work and am sewing some on muslin and working at my tatting in the evenings. Wills cold is some better.
