Tuesday March 31st 1914 It was a cloudy day. Will went to town in the morning and stopped to see Mary who is not well as he came home. It rained in afternoon. We went down at 5:15 to meet Rob & Cora at the store and go with them to The S U I dinner at The Armory. It was very nice. After that we went to Picture shows and did not get home till 10:40. It was foggy but did not rain any more. Wednesday April 1st 1914 Was busy all forenoon. Went to town at 2:15 and to the Church to the Annual meeting to give in the dollar earned by making tatting for Mrs Teeters. Was up to Breenes office again. Thursday April 2nd 1914 The house work was not very much and I was sewing all day on a waist-like a blue & white strip shirt I have. Hattie tells me Joe Williams came last night. I read a library book in the evening. Friday April 3rd 1914 Brother Rob would have been 60 years of today. I did the work and sewed on my waist. I went to town at 4:15 coming back at 5:30. My teeth hurt me so I can hardly wear them at all. Saturday April 4th 1914 I ironed a lot of things we washed yesterday and went down to town at 10:15. Will gone an an hour before. I stopped at Fannies to see Aunt Anna Bremmer and at Mrs Teeters as she is home from The hospital. Then on to Coras. I read a letter there from Marjorie Hartsock telling of her mothers death last Sunday. She was buried Tuesday. Will came over to dinner. I then went over to see Joe Williams. At four oclock LeGrand brought us all to town in the Auto. I was at Breenes office and home at 5:30. Rob out for Breakfast.
