Monday June 22nd 1914 We began work on the cherries. Edith went to school part of the forenoon and helped with the cherries all the spare time they had. I got meals and did the canning. We spent the evening on the proch. Tuesday June 23rd 1914 Rob Cora & Hattie came out to pick cherries. I picked most of the forenoon and got then all up before supper time. Edith worked her Mothers hair. the weather was so fine for it. Vene and I went down town to a picture show at night. Ott got home from Idaho today. Wednesday June 24th 1914 I put up a few more cherries. Hattie & Agnes came out with LeGrand in the car for more cherries. Vene and Will went to buggy ride. Anna Denton and Mary Price came for cherries and Will took then home. We were to go down to Otts for supper but it stormed so we could not. Some later it stopped so her and Edith went down to Aunt Emmons to stay all night. Thursday June 25th 1914 I baked three big cakes to take down for our big cousins party to be held at the old home tomorrow. Soon after dinner we took them with a lot of dishes and silver down home. We did not stay long. We picked a few more cherries after we got home. Vene and Edith got back before supper. They had spent the day at Will Andersons and he brought them home in his car. We spent the evening visiting on the porch.
