Saturday November 21st 1914 We girls stayed at home all day. I was busy with the work in forenoon and did fancy work what spare time I had. Will was in town most of the afternoon. Sunday November 22nd 1914 It was 7 years today since Father died. Mollie and I went to church and Will came down to eat dinner at "the Burchle" with us. We came home at 1:30. Hattie, Rob & Cora came out at supper time. Mollie went home with them. Monday November 23rd 1914 We washed in forenoon. I went to town at 2:15 and was only gone an hour. Hattie came out at supper time. She talked with us about going to Florida with her and it is very likely we will. She went home at 8:15. Tuesday November 24th 1914 I ironed in forenoon. I went down at 2:15 to go to Mrs Pratts to a company. I got of at the lower bridge and found it so torn up that I could not cross so had to walk away around. We had a pleasant time. I came home at 6:30. Mr Pratt took me to town with other ladies in the Auto. Wednesday November 25th 1914 I was at home sewing all day. I had to take the green dress skirt I had made all apart and make it over. It is seven years today since we laid Father to rest beside the boys.
