Tuesday February 16th 1915 It was raining this morning and some showers during the day. The Taylors and a couple of other ladies called in afternoon. I did quite a lot of writing during the day. Mr Falk & Walter were going in town after supper but it rained. The first time since we came that the mail was not brought out. Wednesday February 17th 1915 It was colder today. Mr Falk went in town. He brought out mail. The winter is very high at Iowa City and Sunday the ice was dynamited to save bridges. I made tatting today. Thursday February 18th 1915 Weather not very pleasant. Walter took the Auto in to have it fixed. We were home all day busy with our work. Letters from home. I had a letter from Will. Hattie from Fannie. Friday February 19th 1915 A windy day but not cold. The men were very busy. Hattie went in town to Stetson exercise with Mrs Taylor. We were all over to Taylors for supper and to spend the evening. a very nice time.
