Monday April 19th 1915 Will put in ice for the first time this morning before he went down to report for grand jury work. It was a fine day. I aired and put away all our heavy cloaks in the cedar chest. Cleaned closets and did other work ready to clean house. Will did not come home till 4:30 Tuesday April 20th 1915 I got a little mail ready for Will to take when he went to town to attend concert. I cleaned the garrett and did a big washing before three colock. Will home in time to put in screens. Wednesday April 21st 1915 I ironed in forenoon. Went in town at 2:15 to annual aid meeting. Got me a new black & white check silk. A shower tonight. Thursday April 22nd 1915 I cleaned up both the kitchen and shed [some?] today besides doing some washing. Will finished jury work today. Friday April 25th 1915 Will helped we all day. We took up carpets in both bed rooms up stairs and got every thing in place again. Then took up stair carpet. I had a letter from Hattie and wrote her in evening. Saturday April 24th 1915 Wrote Ida in forenoon. I put some things in place. Will went to town after dinner. I slept a couple of hours. I was too tired to do much at the cleaning today. Sunday April 25th 1915 At home all day. Was busy most of the time. Bro Charlies 69 birthday. Wrote Mattie Stilts. Sam Reed and Harry Mason. Fannie went to Minneapolis tonight.
