Thursday July 8th 1915 I baked bread and other things in the forenoon. At 3:15 I went down home. Rob & Cora spent the day at "The Palisades". After supper with Otts family we came to Coralville for Will and had a nice Auto ride to Tiffen and back. Letter from Hattie. Friday July 9th 1915 I was at home all day. Did some sewing. Will & Mrs Garret went to the hosptal in afternoon to see George Warren. I spent the evening with Mrs Robinson. weather warmer. Saturday July 10th 1915 I did sweeping, baking &c today. Did not get through my work till three oclock. I wrote Hattie and some cards. It rained most of the forenoon and again at supper time. A letter from Mrs Falk that Miss [Burm?] who taught the class in DeLand died from an accident. Sunday July 11th 1915 I read most of the forenoon and went down to Coras at 3:15. Will came an hour later. We had supper there. Us over at Otts & the old place. We came home at 8:30. Monday July 12th 1915 Rob & Cora were out for dinner. Cora went home at 5:15. I did some sewing in afternoon. weather warmer. Tuesday July 13th 1915 It was a very hot day. I washed out some dresses for myself. Will had a hard day with helping fix the well. Mr Eastland was here for dinner. I did some sewing besides the regular work.
