Monday August 30th 1915 We went to Coralville for some things. We were very busy for Hattie had a party of ladies for supper. Rob brought and took them home in the Auto. We had a very nice time. There was a lady to look at the house but did not take it. Tuesday August 31st 1915 The Williams girls except Bertha went to Des Moines. She went to Chicago. Hattie and I cleaned the closet and boxes in Mothers room. After dinner Rob Cora Will Hattie & I went to Tipton in the Auto. Had our suppers there. Ott & Fannie were up in the evening. a fine day. Wednesday September 1st 1915 The girls did a big washing by ten oclock. Hattie went to Marshalltown with William and Fannie. Will & I to Coralville for his things and had dinner with Rob & Cora. We went to town with Rob in the Auto and met Mrs Lee who came from Chicago. Cora to Amana with The Pratts in their new car. It was four years today since Mother died. Thursday September 2nd 1915 I did some washing for Will and Hattie ironing in the afternoon. Visited some with Mrs Lee. Ott here in evening. Friday September 3rd 1915 I got Wills things packed up so he left for Delavan. Rob took him over in the Auto. I did some extra work about the kitchen in afternoon. The folks got home from Marshalltown at 6:30. They had a good trip. I was down at Otts in the evening.
