Saturday September 4th 1915 Did some work in my room and was over to Cora's. Soon after dinner Rob took us to Coralville & to town. Did fancy work and talked with Hattie & Mrs Lee. Sunday September 5th 1915 Hattie & Mrs Lee went to church. I went too and over to Woolfs for dinner. Mary to Cedar Rapids in afternoon. Rob and Cora with Miss & Mrs Rob Bleven were [illeg] stayed at Wellmon all night. Monday September 6th 1915 The young folks got home at ten oclock. Hattie at home in afternoon. I over at Aunt Libs. After early supper went to cemetery and later Otts folks and Hattie to donation party. a card from Will. Wednesday September 8th 1915 There was a hard rain last night but Aunt Ellen and the girls, Mrs Robinson and Frankie came for the day. It rained frightfully in afternoon. Mrs Robinson stayed all night. It was 35 years today since John & Hattie were married Thursday September 9th 1915 Mrs Robinson went home when I went to Coralville in the forenoon. I was up town and paid the last of my church dues. The girls went to a party to Mrs C. [illeg] A Hills in the afternoon. The folks all spent the evening here and planned a trip to Burlington. I heard from Will and wrote to him.
