Friday September 17th 1915 We were busy with the work all forenoon. Hattie and Mrs Lee were in town all afternoon. I did up the work and picked up a lot of nuts down by Otts. Evening at home and down to see LeGrand awhile. he is not well. Saturday September 18th 1915 We had early dinner for Hattie to go to Old Settlers picnic. Mrs Lee & Mollie went earlier. I spent the afternoon with Fannie. Loyd & Agnes Anderson here in the evening. Sunday September 19th 1915 We all went to church in the Auto. I wrote a couple of letters in afternoon. The evening was spent on the proch. Monday September 20th 1915 The girls got washing done and went to Helen Whinnys to a luncheon. Mrs Lee to Ann Highs in afternoon. Hattie there to supper. I ironed our things in afternoon. Mollie & I rode with Rob & Cora in evening and to picture show. Tuesday September 21st 1915 It was cool today. Mildred McCallister & Clara Shultz were here. Clara stayed all night andf the folks went riding in the evening. Will & I down to Otts awhile. Wednesday September 22nd 1915 I went to Coralville at 8:30. Will walked up town with me. He went back to Court on jury duty for one more day. He had been working up home some the last two days. I made grape jelly & did some washing & ironing. The folks took Clara to the valley after supper. She & Hattie had been in town and down to Fannies.
