Thursday September 23rd 1915 I was home all day. Did some sewing. Hattie & Cora went calling over on Moreville Hights. Ott & Fannie spent the evening with us. Mollie did not come home tonight. Friday September 24th 1915 I was busy with baking in forenoon. Will & I went to Coralville in afternoon. All but Cora were calling in town. Will & I rode all evening with Rob & Cora. a letter from Lydia. Wrote to her. Saturday September 25th 1915 Rob took Fannie, Cora, & Hattie down to Mildred McCallisters. Mrs Lee and I went to The Elder Daughters party at Sweeneys It rained so we came home in a cab. The folks with John McCallister. Sunday September 26th 1915 Hattie & I were all forenoon getting dinner. Otts family with Charles Remmers were here. Spent the afternoon visiting. It was a cool cloudy day with some rain in early forenoon. Monday September 27th 1915 Still drizzling. Hattie & I worked with plums most of the day some of the butter goes to The Folks. I walked to town late in afternoon. Mrs Lee went to Muscatine in forenoon. Tuesday September 28th 1915 The girls washed in forenoon and I did baking. Hattie and I went to town in afternoon to a picture show. I came home first and found a couple of delegates to the W C T U convention here. They went back to town to their supper. It was three years yesterday since John died. I did not feel well and went to bed early.
