Saturday October 9th 1915 It was a bright day. There were some poeple looking at lots. There was a foot ball game in afternoon. Rob took me to Coralville in the morning. I sent down some vegetables and I made a fire and stayed till the 11:15. Will was up town and we came home with Rob in the car. At Fannies in PM. Sunday October 10th 1915 Rob took us to church. I wrote some in afternoon. Fannie went to ride with us before supper. And the folks were away again in evening. A number of lots sold today. A dispatch from Ott says he & William will be home with the car tomorrow night. Monday October 11th 1915 The girls did washing in forenoon. Hattie went to Old Ladies Home luncheon. Cora ironed in afternoon. I was busy with my own affairs. Down to Otts after supper. He & William got home about 9:30. I had come home before that. Tuesday October 12th 1915 We did ironing and other work in forenoon. Rob took us all to town in the car after dinner. I spent the afternoon with Mrs Dr Smith. Will came home from town with us. He is better of his cold. He rented the farm today to a son of Phil Murphy for jist what Mr Stiles paid this year. We rode over the new bridge in the Auto for the first time. Wednesday October 12th 1915 Hattie cleaned the house with the vacuum cleaner. I did baking &c. Mollie came back tonight. We had a friend of hers and Pauls for supper. Hattie over to Robs in evening awhile. And the rest of us at home.
