Wednesday October 20th 1915 A fine day and the folks got an early start for Keokuk. I got the dinner and was out around the place some in the afternoon. It was 20 years today since Charles was buried. Thursday October 21st 1915 I got the dinner and at 1:30 went up to the house for an hour and stopped at Marys and to see Mollie Folsoms on my way home. Spent the evening at home. Friday October 22nd 1915 I was busy all forenoon. Went with Fannie in the afternoon to make calls and do errands. The folks got home jist at supper time. The had a fine trip having visited at Burlington on the way. Weather delightful. Saturday October 23rd 1915 Hattie and I were busy with housework all forenoon. She went to town and up to Willis to call in afternoon as Mr Willis died yesterday. I sewed all afternoon on muslin. Otts folks spent the evening here. Weather delightful. Sunday October 24th 1915 The folks were up early. The Whetstones and Mollie went to Davenport. Otts folks to Amana. LeGrand took dinner with us. A fine day. The folks got home at 9 oclock. Monday October 25th 1915 The girls did washing. It rained in afternoon while Hattie with the help of a girl who is to work for Fannie cleaned the house up. Mollie Stilt comes tomorrow and we had company invited. After supper fixed some things for the dinner tomorrow. weather grand.
