Sunday November 21st 1915 It was very cold & windy. I was busy with the work all forenoon as I had neglected things for the sewing. Read and wrote some a letter to Hattie and Ann Gilbert. Monday November 22nd 1915 It snowed most of the day. I was sewing. I did some more work on my brown dress and changed the hem on my lavender. Will reading book. It was eight years today since Father died. Tuesday November 23rd 1915 It cleared of warmer and the snow melted. We did a big washing in forenoon. I sewed all afternoon and evening. A letter from Hattie. Wednesday November 24th 1915 I did ironing in forenoon and Will & I went to town at 2:15. I had a lot of things to see to. We came home together at 4:30. Students made cars late. Thursday November 25th 1915 Thanksgiving day. very mild and pleasant. we were both busy at house all day. Will put some kindling wood away and I with sewing. Otts boys had company at home. Rob & Cora down at McCallisters. It rained very hard soon after dark. Friday November 26th 1915 I was at home all day busy with sewing. weather unpleasant. Will about the house most of the time. I had a letter from Anna Gilbert. The first for more than 20 years.
