Saving...
Tuesday August 21st 1906 I ironed in the forenoon, got the dinner, and fixed things to leave for Wills supper. At 2.30 I went down to Woolfs on the car. Had a visit with Mary who had just returned from a weeks stay at a convention in St Paul. From there I went over home to stay till after supper and spent the evening till eight oclock down at Otts. weather still warm. Will is resting some. Wednesday August 22nd 1906 It was very warm and I was about home all day. I did not do much of any thing. We heard that Mr Slemmons died early this morning. Ida came on from Canada a week ago. Willie and Carrie started to visit Anna this morning. Spent the evening down at Mrs Fred Robinsons. I dried corn today. Thursday August 23rd 1906 I put another lot of corn to dry this forenoon. I had this dinner in good time and went down town at 12.30. I went directly to the fair ground in a hack to attend the Old Settlers picnic. The folks came over later. I had a very nice time. came in town with Mr Whitaker and home on the 5.05 car. I spent the evening over at Mrs Kosers. Will about the place all day.
