Friday March 24th 1899 We got an early start to town this morning I did a lot of errands, made a couple of calls, and got over home by noon. Visited with the folks till four oclock. had a cold ride home. Did the evening work and read papers. Fathers birth-day Saturday March 25th 1899 I was busy all forenoon with baking. Will went to town with Charlie M-. The wind was very strong I finished my rug in the afternoon and in the evening began another one. Sunday March 26th 1899 I was busy all forenoon with the dinner and the regular work. I read till about four oclock I walked up to see how Mrs Bell was. I got lunch after I came home and Will and I spent the evening down to Johns. Weather very wintry Monday March 27th 1899 Will went out east of town to the Cochran sale I did a little baking in the morning and work all my spare time on my rug. I had thought I would go up to Ida Andersons with him but it was so cold I was well satisfied I staid at home and kept comfortable
