We came home very happy over it. Friday February 16th 1900 It was an intensely cold day. I did a little sewing and the boys took care of the stock. Will and I talked all the evening about how we would fix the farm if we got it. I should be very glad if we only can. Saturday February 17th 1900 It was still very cold but we went to town and over home for dinner. I talked some more with Ott. I guess there is no doubt we will get the place and have a week or more to conclude the business. Came home in good time to do the evening work and read all the evening Sunday February 18th 1900 I was busy with the work nearly all the forenoon. had dinner early and read all the afternoon and evening.
