Saturday April 15th 1900 "Easter Sunday". I read part of the forenoon and after early dinner we went up home. There was no one at home but Father, Mother and Lee of course Poor boy it is a good many weeks since he was away from home. "God bless him". I talked with Mother and Will walked over town. Came home in time to do the evening work. Monday April 16th 1900. It rained by showers today. The boys worked all day in the barn sifting out hay seed. Will took a fat hog to town in the afternoon. I sewed carpet rags when not busy with the work. Churned twice Tuesday April 17th 1900 It rained the greater part of the day. Frank did not try to work any, said one of the horses kicked him Carl was here for dinner and he went to town with him I sewed carpet rags part of the day. Wrote to May. Wednesday April 18th 1900 Luther helped me wash and Will went to town in the forenoon. We went to Hill Siding after dinner to take over eggs and get things. Aunt Liz was here awhile. Frank did not come back and as Luther missed $2.50 out of his pocket and Will had over paid him it is not likely he will
