Monday January 20th 1901 Mort helped me wash while Will went to Hill Siding to gets horses shod. In the afternoon they put on their loads of hay. I was busy about the house all afternoon. Tuesday January 22nd 1901 The boys took an early start with their loads. I ironed and churned today and fixed a trunk and worked at getting things ready to pack. Callie up in afternoon Wednesday January 23rd 1901 I was busy with the regular work most of the forenoon Will got some things down from the room in the ice house. I baked cake and papered some boxes in afternoon. Ada here. Thursday January 24th 1901 It grew very cold last night and today there was a terrible wind blowing. Will helped me in the afternoon about taking down pictures &c. I was busy packing too. Friday January 25th 1901 It was too rough to go with the loads. I had dinner early and Will went to town in afternoon. I took up two carpets. Saturday January 26th 1901 The boys went with the hay. I was at work all day with the packing. I got the fruit all ready. I had a letter from Heather she says Lee is not so well
