Saturday March 23rd 1901 Will walked to town with the butter. I had a lot of work to do about the house and was not through till two oclock. Mrs Kozer came over for the afternoon. Will is not at all well. I read all the evening. Sunday March 24th 1901 This was Fathers birthday and we were expected down home to eat dinner. It rained nearly all day I read and wrote when not busy with the work. Will feels some-what better. Monday March 25th 1901 Ida Vaughn came to work early this morning and we cleaned up her room upstairs and took a good many things from the other bed-room to the [garret?] I sewed some in the afternoon. Tuesday March 26th 1901 We worked most of the day at cleaning the parlor when not busy with the cooking. The men are busy trimming up trees and cleaning up around Wednesday March 27th 1901 We did a big washing in the morning and Will and I went to town in the afternoon I did some shopping and walked over home to wait for him to come for me. The folks were at home. Mother is not very well
