Monday May 22nd 1893 It was not a bright morning so we did not wash I fixed the skirt to my green dress in the forenoon. Fanny went over the river in the afternoon and I did a lot of odd jobs of sewing and mending. I worked on my [stand?] cover in the evening. The folks took supper over the river. Tuesday May 23rd 1893 We got an early start at the washing and were done by ten oclock. I baked bread too. Fanny went over the river as soon as she ate her dinner to help Hattie with a company supper. I helped Josie and we had the ironing all done by four oclock. I crotcheted in the evening. Wednesday May 24th 1893 I went up town this morning and got the money Mother owed me for the mules. I helped with the dinner after I came back and soon after dinner I went over the river with Fanny. She had to come back after Ott to do some work. I walked home to get the supper and they came home to eat and then went back again. Thursday May 25th 1893 I was busy with the work all forenoon.
