Monday July 24th 1893 I ironed in the forenoon and put in all the afternoon doing mending and fixing things. It was a very warm day. Fanny & Ott over the river till bed time. Tuesday July 25th 1893 I was busy all day doing sweeping and cleaning of silver, lams, etc. Will went to the depot to meet Laura Mason who came on the ten oclock train. We were very glad to see her. I was up town after supper. Wednesday July 26th 1893 Fanny was sick in bed all day. After dinner Will took Laura over the river for a call and when they come back I did some errands. Fanny got up at supper time. weather cooler. Thursday July 27th 1893 I had a fire in the big stove this morning and did baking. In the afternoon Fanny, Laura and I went over home. Laura and I walked back, stopped in town to get a few things and went back up street after supper. Friday July 28th 1893 It was very late when we got up this morning. I did a little sweeping.
