Thursday September 14th 1893 Allie Halson staid here all night. I prepared peaches to make butter before breakfast. I got that all done before noon. Will took me over the river soon after dinner. I stopped at Forneys to call on her Aunt Fanny. I staid over home till bed time. Will came after me. Friday September 15th 1893 Will went to the West Liberty fair. I was busy about the house most the forenoon. I went up town a few moments. I put up two baskets of peaches in the afternoon. Mother was here all the afternoon and Hattie a little while. I did some mending in the evening. Mr & Mrs Faller went away for a few days. It was a bad day for a strong wind made the dust very bad. It was nine years today since Our Rob died. Saturday September 16th 1893 I put my fruit away in the closet in the forenoon cleaned up the house and was helping Will about the chicken house some he began work on that. I went over the river in the afternoon. I did some baking when I was getting dinner. It was very warm and the dust was so bad. I spent the evening at home reading
