of the manufactories building and ate our lunch. We then went down in front of Administration to watch the fountains awhile before we started to the city and said goodbye to the Fair grounds. We went away about half past seven, stopped for a cup of coffee before going to our rooms. It was the most delightful week I every spent. Sunday October 8th 1893 We got up in very good time this morning and packed up our things before breakfast. About nine oclock we went over to John Harts and left our valise. Then took a State St car for up town intending to go to Lincoln Park. There was such a crown that we could not get near that line and walked about awhile which interested me very much. Got back to Johns at one oclock to dinner. Spent a couple of hours there and went down to Englewood. Started home at five oclock. was not more than seven hours on the road on a fine train. Monday October 9th 1893 Will went and got some things for breakfast After I had done up my work I went over the rive and he went to the valley. I had a good visit over home and he came for me in the
