40 For a burn or Scald Take Goose dung and ye middle bark of an elder tree fry them in may butter strain them. anoint ye burnt or scalded place For the Cholick Take half a sheet of white paper annoint it all over with oyl olive and strew thereon gross peper and so lay it to ye belly from ye navil downward For a childes navil it comes out with crying Take wax as it comes from the beehive let it not be altered but only strained from the honey then melt some of it and dip some black wool in it and bind it to ye navil
