Take fair water half a pint. Merc. sublimate a penny woth Allum as much as a bean. boile all these togather. warm it when you use it For a Swelling Take Violet leaves Groundsel Chickweed and Mallos of each one handful. cut them small boil them in water thicken it with [garlic?] meal. For a [wen?] Take black sope and unguencht lime of [cach?] a like quantity and beat them very small together lay it on the wen July the 14th 1753 mr Cooper began [illegible] att Amesbury Old Stile
