123 For The Mother Take three or four handfuls of ferne that groweth upon a house seeth it in Rennish wine till it be well sodden then put it in a Linnen cloth and lay it to her navell as hot as she may suffer it four or five times. For the Sight Take sage, fennell, vervin bettony, Eyebright, pimpernell Cinquefoil and Hearbgrace. Lay all of these in white wine one night still it in a sillatory of glass
