A Cordial Electuary for the stomach or shortness of breath Take a pint of ye best honey set it on ye fire scum it clean then put a handfull of hysop bruised small. let it boil well till ye honey tast of ye hysop then strain out the honey very hard and put to it the powder of Anglicaroot powder of Elicampaneroot of Each ye weigh of six pence Ginger and pepper of each ye weight of two pence Liquorish and Anniseeds. an. ye weight of Eight pence all beaten very small put all these into ye strained honey and Let them boil a little space stiring them well together. take them from ye fire anpour all into a clean gallipot stirring it till it is
