How to Make Rock Candy Take Double refined Suger & beatit & siftit through avery fine Sive then take gum Dragon very well Steeped in Rose water and Clean from any Dirt then take your Gum & Suger & mix together wt: quantity you please then Sett them to Dry 3 or 4 days you may make them into what Colors you Please for yallow you must take gum: Booge & for Greene gum: Booge & [illegible] and for Red Vermillion & Schutechaneel & for Blew take Blew Starch & ty them up all by them Selves in little Cloaths & wet them in a Little water but you must putt a Little allom to your Sohatchaneel & when they are thoroughly Dry take of your Best Duble Refined as much as you think will cover them then take your Sugar & wett it very well with egg water then Sett on ye fire & when it is boyld & well Cummed and you think it is about Candy hight take it off and powr it into your Parms whear things lye and they must not Lye too thick for feard they Should Stick togeather and you must lay them all over with you must looke over
