42nd Wednesday March 27th 1872 Did not feel very well today Mother was gone to town and I did the work Weather quite pleasant Thursday March 28th 1872 Mother went to town again today I did the work and sewed on a white apron for myself did not get it quite done I do not feel very well my throat is sore and I cough considerable Hatt and Charlie went to the theater tonight. Friday March 29th 1872 I finished my apron this morning and began another one I had a note from my friend Lizzie she is at home now I went down there this afternoon it was so pleasant enjoyed myself as I always do with her came home before night the children went down there to a school exhibition tonight I did not go Charlie went to Aunty Walkers will not be back tonight I read some went to bed early Saturday March 30th 1872 It rained the whole blessed day I wrote a few lines to Mr Huebner and recieved an answer tonight read some and went to bed early my throat is much worse
