64th Friday May 24th 1872 I sent Mr Huebner a boquet of snow-balls this morning recieved a note of thanks in return for my trouble Lizzie wrote to me this morning that It was Scotts birthday and she wanted me to come down this afternoon But it was impossible for me to go We cleaned up the middle room got the carpet and furniture in Mr Huebner was here this evening I did not go to society I felt too tired Saturday May 25th 1872 Hatt and Lee went down to Uncle Jims today Mother and I did the baking this forenoon in the afternoon she went to town I cleaned up the rooms up stairs and bound one end of the carpet. Mollie was over a few moments this afternoon Mr Huebner was here for cream I have got a half dollar in gold for my watch chain. A beautiful day Sunday May 26th 1872 Most of the folks went to the valley today I did up the work in good style. Wrote awhile and got the dinner. After I had washed the dinner dishes I took a bath and dressed to go down to Robinsons. Did not
