73rd Tuesday June 18th 1872. I did the ironing this morning though I did not feel a bit like it As soon as dinner was over I went up stairs and lay down to sleep Mr Huebner was here this afternoon did not stay long. It has been so fearfully hot today Wednesday June 19th 1872. I still feel sick did not do any thing much this morning In the afternoon Mother went to town and I laid down and slept. It was very warm today Thursday June 20th I began to work on Hatties pink dress this morning Mrs Brooks was here this afternoon I had a note from Mr H_ answered it. Also had a letter from Pete. Mr Huebner called this evening. Friday June 21st 1872 I sewed on Hatties dress till about the middle of the afternoon. I then wrote a letter to Pete and folded a paper to send to him. I then dressed and went to town took Magi with me he ran into a bed of lime and I had an awful time with him.
