79th Saturday July 6th 1872 I went right to work to finish Mothers dress got it done by noon. Mother and Hatt did the work. In the afternoon Mrs Walker and Ella Robinson was here. We got an early supper and then Mother and I went to town did not get home till night I got a fruit cake receipt of Mrs Middleton and the stuff to make it Sunday July 7th 1872 We were late getting our work done up Mother, Father, and Lee went down to Jim McC_ I got our dinner at noon I read awhile and then dressed, I walked down into the lots met Ella Robinson and Harry Sperry The young folks went out to Fletchers Mr Huebner came over just before supper Mr and Mrs Brooks was here a short time We did not attend church tonight Monday July 8th 1872 I went to town the first thing this morning to see about Hattie's white dress. While I was over invited some company for Thursday evening When I came home I helped finish the washing for the afternoon Mr Huebner was over stayed till after supper then him and I went riding took Hattie down to
