80th Robinsons. from there we went to town for ice cream. I baked a fruit cake this afternoon and we got the new sofa home and a new set of kitchen chairs. Tuesday July 9th 1872 I ironed today, do not feel the least bit well Mollie Robinson and her sister Lizzie were here today I was making Hattie a white skirt Wrote some notes in the evening, Wednesday July 10th 1872 I sewed all the forenoon on Hattie's dress in the afternoon I made two white cakes and a jelly cake. Mother went to town and Mr Huebner was here, awhile. Thursday July 11th 1872 I finished making preparation for my company this morning. in the afternoon I cleaned up the house and rested We got the supper over early I do not feel well today. There was only about half came that was invited It dont seem to me we had a pleasant time like we generally do here at home. it was a pleasant evening. Had a letter from Mr Van Camp and a note from Cousin Esther today.
