82nd Tuesday July 16th 1872 I sat up long enough this morning to write Pete a few lines The Dr was here in the afternoon Mrs Middleton and Emma were here Mother went with them over to Folsoms they stayed till after supper Arth was here to see me and Mr H_ spent the evening with me. Wednesday July 17th 1872 I sat up most of the forenoon, after dinner I dressed to go riding the children went to the show and the rest of the folks went to Mr Folsoms funeral I enjoyed my ride very well it did not tire me as much as I thought it would Went to bed as soon as I got home. A year ago today Pete and Palmers started east Thursday July 18th 1872 I got up and dressed before breakfast and worked all the morning I dressed and went over to Robinsons and stayed till after dinner came home along the middle of the afternoon sat down and read some helped about the supper did up the work. Mr Huebner was here a few moments this evening I had a note from him also A very pleasant day.
