83rd Friday July 19th 1872 Wrote a note to Mr Huebner and a few lines to Pete this morning and then dressed and went to town. In the afternoon I went over to see Laura Given, had a very pleasant afternoon stayed till just night and she walked home with me. Mrs Fletcher and Annie was here a few moments Went to bed early. Saturday July 20th 1872 It rained nearly all day I read some and helped do the work I do not feel vey well. Sunday July 21st 1872 I read most of the forenoon. Helped get the dinner. And after dinner I dressed. When Mr Huebner came over him and I took a walk down to Lizzie's coming home we met Mr & Mrs Brooks and Laura Given they came on home with us and stayed awhile We did not attend church. Monday July 22nd 1872 It rained nearly all day I was sewing some on shirts in the afternoon Mother and Hatt did a large washing and put the clothes to soak I am feeling some better today.
