85th Friday July 26th 1872 finished my letter to Pete this morning and wrote one to J.J. Huebner. Mother went to town and Hatt and Lee to the valley and as the men were gone to the farm I ate my dinner all alone. Sade Pinney was over awhile in the afternoon. In the evening Mr Huebner and Laura Given. The men did not get home till quite late. Saturday July 27th 1872 I helped do up the work in the morning and after dinner Mother and I went to town She did not stay over very long I took supper with Sade and did not get home till night Had a note from Mr Huebner and a letter from Lou Reeves today Sunday July 28th 1872 Some of the folks went to the valley I got dinner at noon and in the afternoon Charlie and I took a walk over to Lauras. I did not stay very long when I came home J.J. Huebner was here. After we had lunch we took a walk down to Robinsons I was very tired when I got home, so I did not attend church It has been extremely warm today Had a letter from Dear Dear Bertie
