101st Jim brought me a letter from Jake. The Dr and Tom was out this evening Mr H_ and I went out riding it was a beautiful evening. Wednesday September 11th 1872 It rained this forenoon We ironed most of the day I wrote a letter to Mr Huebner It cleared of beautifully in the afternoon in the evening we all stayed at home. Thursday September 12th 1872. It was raining this morning but it stopped just before noon Jim and Uncle were going down town and Jennie and I went with them, ran around town awhile I mailed my letters and recieved one from Charlie Had a late dinner and then began to get ready to go to the wedding. Will Reed & [Vonnie?] Duncan We were there in plenty of time Had a very pleasant time. got back to town just when the night train came and Grand-ma and Grand-pa and Jim Mc were on board. We did not get to bed till two oclock. Friday September 13th 1872 I worked on my embroidery Esther was out in the afternoon, in the evening Ira and Jen and I took her home this evening I wrote a letter to Charlie today.
