109th Sunday October 6th 1872 I helped do up the work in the morning and had only finished when Laura came over I dressed and went home with her. We sat down on their steps until the people were all gone home from church. When Charlie came home from the valley John came with him I wrote a letter to Venie and one to Mr H_. After dinner I dressed and took them to the office, stopped at Sadie's awhile, came home just about dark. Monday October 7th 1872 I sewed in the forenoon and after dinner I dressed and went out to Stevens with Chas staid till almost night when Lee brought a horse out and I came home on horse-back Most a beautiful day. Tuesday October 8th 1872 I sewed in the morning. Grand-ma Folsom was here visiting. After dinner I went to town with Laura. She was over to spend the evening and helped me finish the shirts. Quite pleasant today. Wednesday October 9th 1872 I went up to Aunty Walkers today on the train with the Ladies of the Universalist Sewing Society We had a splendid time Charlie was over
