119th Saturday November 9th 1872 Mother went to town this forenoon and Hattie and I were busy doing the baking when she came home she brought me two letters from Mr Huebner and one from Dr Harrington. In the afternoon I cleaned the house all up and we got the supper over rather early. Most of them came that was invited. Mr Huebner came in on the train from the east. he got here just as they were having lunch I think we had a real pleasant time Mr H_ stayed all night with Charlie. Sunday November 10th 1872 As soon as we had breakfast Charlie and Mr Huebner went to town, in a short time Mr H_ came back with a team and him and I went down to the valley We took dinner at Grand-ma's and then went up to Aunt Sarah's and stopped a few moments, then we came home by the east road. We did not go to church tonight but spent the evening here at home. Mr Huebner starts home tomorrow morning at four oclock, And tomorrow I begin my school. I do so hope it will be a successful term
