122nd Tuesday November 19th 1872 Hattie came out to school today weather rather pleasant. This evening Mr Stevens brought me two letters from Mr Huebner. Grand-ma Folsom was buried today. Wednesday November 20th 1872 Taught today. Wrote a letter to Mr H_ at noon and sent it home by Lee I also wrote a note to Mr Barnes. Thursday November 21st 1872 Taught today. In the evening after school I went home with Grace Carroll to stay all night, had a very pleasant time. Friday November 22nd 1872 When I got down to the school-house in the morning I found three letters there for me one from Bertie Croninger one from Mr Huebner and one from Laura Felkner. I was awful glad to get them. In the afternoon Hattie & Winnie came out to school. I walked home in the evening. I was over to Stevens first They brought the horse out for me to ride but they got up a little excitement over it so I let Em McSparen ride and I walked, did not feel very tired
