123rd Saturday November 23rd 1872 I helped do up the morning work and then sat down to my sewing After dinner I packed up Fathers clothes and Mother and I went over to Folsoms Father came over there to supper and we had a very pleasant visit. As soon as supper was over we came home and Father went to the depot. I knit all the evening, finished my stocking. Sunday November 24th 1872 It has been a gloomy day, Hattie was over to Winnie's all day, I wrote all day Wrote to Pete & Bertie and a few lines to little Lillie, A letter to Aunty Holmes Lou Reeves and Mr Huebner. Did not even change my dress all day. Went to bed early. Monday November 25th 1872. Mr Stevens was here last evening and said that as the small-pox was prevailing to considerable extent out in that neighborhood I had better postpone my school a few weeks, So this forenoon I did the washing In the afternoon I sewed and Mother went to town. This evening there was a lot of the young folks up from below to see Hatt and Rob. Jim Stevens staid all night with us
