140th I was very much surprised to see Mr H_ come driving up He missed the train last night so he determined to remain over Sunday In the evening we attended society Weather cold. Saturday Jan 18th 1873 We did not get up very early so it took all the forenoon to do the work Charlie was sick and did not get up till noon Joe Wright was here all the forenoon and Mr H_ was here a few moments. Mother went to town. In the afternoon I went out sleigh riding it was so cold We did not stay out long. In the evening We went over to Mollie Folsoms awhile. I was almost sick when we got home. Sunday January 19th 1873 It was late before we got up I did a very little of the work and then dressed to go to the country Mr Huebner came over pretty early We went down to the valley, came home before eight drove down to Robinsons a momemt In the evening we went to the Universalist church Miss Chapin preached most an excellent sermon. Weather pleasanter
