Friday February 7th 1873 I taught today though I did not feel like it. Charlie came after me early and then he took me over to town after we came home I got me some muslin and other notions Went up to Esthers a very few moments The children went in the country to a spelling school tonight I read all the evening. Saturday February 8th 1873 I did intend to teach today, but I felt so badly this morning that I sent Hatt in my place. I helped do the work and sewed a little and Wrote to Mr Huebner in the eve and read some. had a letter from him today. Sunday February 9th 1873 I wrote a letter to Mr Huebner and one to Bertie and Lillie and read all I could in Martin Chuzzlewit. no company today
